Celebrities as other people have the same needs, the same enjoyment in life as well as bad habits. One of the bad habit that they share with us is cigarette smoking. Celebrities are always in view of the public and their look is the basic criteria that make them popular and asked-for. Mostly, this concerns ladies. Well-known actresses and singers and even political women spend a lot of their time and earning to have the best appearance and to carry their years well. The keep on different diets, deprive themselves from various delicious foods, drinks, exhausting themselves in sport gyms, to be in good fit and look. They undergo this, but ignore the single fact, that smoking damages their health and look and cause premature aging.

Twenty years ago researches founded that smoking dehydrates the skin, damages collagen and destroy vitamin C, which accelerates skin aging with 10-15 years. And this fact does not scare smoking celebrities. They continue to have thousand of advisers and keeping on various diets, not even thinking about getting rid of smoking.

Smoking among celebrities is the main problem, which they ignore and do not wish to quit. Why? First of all, this is the question of their style. Kate Moss, the well-known super-model, may be found at any picture being with a cigarette and a stylish cellular phone. She did not mention that the reason was the harm for the health.

Ok, we may understand their not easy life, full of stresses. Nevertheless, the researches shown that celebrity smokers have an influence on youth smoking rate increase. Teenagers are prone to emulate the celebrities, following their glamorous life and parties. The most common cigarette brand among youth is Marlboro, as the most celebrities smoke this brand. Teenagers ignore the fact of harmfulness, all the warnings at the cigarette packs. They start to smoke to imitate manners of their idols, which becomes a national problem. Mostly, smoking girls imitate their idols by smoking manner. Even there exists an opinion, that smoking celebrities by themselves became influenced by the glamour that is usually associated with cigarette smoking.

Thus, celebrities as simple people may choose between health and cigarette smoking. The only fact that makes a distinction between them and others is that they should be more responsible and think about their influence on the rising generation.
